So here are a few more deterants for those of you considering pregnancy- along with all the excitement and joy comes a few more issues like vurping and shortness of breath.
I can not count the number of time I wake up in the middle of the night to burps and indigestion pain from a meal eaten 6 hours earlier! Apparently as he takes up more room he also pushes up into mmy stomach and the same hormones that relax my ligaments also relax the muscle in my esophagus-- thus burps all day, stomach pain, and vomit burps or vurps!
Along with this upward stomach pressure comes pressure pushing against my lungs- so either I am really really out of shape (so much that vaccuming makes me pass out) or my lungs can no longer expand into my ribcage!
Ahhhhh the joy!

In the words of Wil "Tha Thrill" Turner "LMAO"! I have only been involved in one birth and that was my own and I was the birthee and not the birther so I don't know if this is true or not, but rumor has it that the pain and discomfort could get worse than all the things you have described! Scary!!!
